Voluntown Peace Trust is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt nonprofit organization. Our ability to offer VPT's facilities at reduced rates for low-income rentals depends on the generosity of our supporters and our community. Their gifts help to maintain the historic property and to subsidize VPT's hospitality to those who otherwise would not have access to retreats, conferences, or a connection to farm life. For groups working for social change, time together in a different setting can be fundamental for personal and organizational formation. It builds community, staves off burnout, and nourishes people for the "long haul" struggle for lasting justice.

For a small annual donation of $25, due each year on or before May 1st, you will be contributing crucial moral support to the Vision and financial support to the Mission of VPT. Whether you choose to participate actively by working, voting, and enjoying events on the farm, or by membership only, we hope you will join our community of commitment to social change, sustainable living, and alternatives to the violence of our age.
Each of VPT's facilities is available for rent to groups and individuals doing sustainability, peace, and justice work. Private rentals are also available. Our facilities include a conference center, small and large cabins, a yurt, and camping space. Voluntown Peace Trust does not discriminate, nor does it support discrimination, based on race, ethnicity, nationality, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religious affiliation or lack thereof, or disability.
Garden volunteers wanted! We have plots available to be worked most Saturday mornings between May and October. Refresh your spirit as you reacquaint yourself with the good earth. Feel the power in contributing to your local economy, growing organic food, and finding friendship with like-minded people.
Please contact Nancy (860-376-9970) to learn more or to arrange a work day.
