Partner Organizations

A couple of our partner organizations serve as the foundations of our Core Programs. To learn more about our Core Programs, please visit our Programs page here.

Hartford Catholic Worker
HCW runs a summer camp out of VPT each year for underprivileged children of color in Hartford. The camp gives urban youth the opportunity to explore and become immersed in the natural splendor of rural New England.
In part inspired by the Camp Ahimsa children's summer peace programs of the 1960s, we are proud to continue the tradition of hosting children's summer camps.
New England War Resisters League
WRL has been involved in peace & justice activism in Connecticut for over 3 decades. New England WRL is directly descended from the original New England Community for Nonviolent Action (CNVA), the founders of what would become the Voluntown Peace Trust in 1962. Honoring those origins, New England WRL now organizes the Cooperative for Nonviolent Action.

We work with many partner organizations by providing event and retreat space, resources, and help with projects.
