HOW VPT PROGRAMMING WORKS

Programs and events at VPT come about in several distinct ways. They may be:
(A) VPT-sponsored, (B) Public Rentals, or (C) Private Rentals.
Each category has its own fee structure and guidelines. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to read more on how it works.

Those in the (A) category may be hosted by a CNVA group, Camp Ahimsa, the Garden/Land, or the Board/Membership as a whole. They further the mission, may be publicized as VPT programs, and any funds raised go to the VPT and/or one of its core programs.

Programs or events in the (B) category are sponsored by a group or individual renting VPT facilities and advertising it to the Public. Admission may be charged, but all advertising must make clear that the activities are happening AT the VPT and sponsored by another entity, NOT sponsored by VPT.  Even so, (B) events must be compatible with the VPT mission. As such, "B" events may be publicized on the VPT website in a listing under EVENTS SPONSORED BY OTHERS (below).

Private Rentals (C) may include programming, but it is for the members of the group renting the VPT facilities and not open to the public. Such events may include conferences, retreats, trainings, meetings, weddings, and other parties. Even so, (C) events must be compatible with the VPT mission.
