Directions from New London

Start out North on Mohegan Ave/CT-32 toward Benham Ave 2.5 mi Turn RIGHT onto Montville Connector, 1.4 mi Merge onto I-395 N, 16.2 mi Take Exit 85--CT-164/CT-138 exit (Preston), Stay straight on ramp toward CT-138, 5.4 mi Turn right on CT-138. Continue to follow CT-138 Pass through Voluntown. Stay straight, 2 mi. Just beyond the center of Voluntown, CT-138 branches to the right. Stay straight on CT-165 toward Rhode Island. Look for "Living Word Fellowship Church" on right. VPT follows immediately on the left. 539 Beach Pond Rd (CT-165).


From Hartford

Take CT-2 E toward Norwich/New London, 36.5 mi Merge onto 1-395 N via exit 28 N, 8.1 mi Take exit 85--CT-164/CT-138 exit Stay straight on ramp toward CT-138, Turn right on CT-138. Continue to follow CT-138, 5.4 mi Pass through Voluntown. Stay straight, 2 mi. Just beyond the center of Voluntown, CT-138 branches to the right. Stay straight on CT-165 toward Rhode Island. Look for "Living Word Fellowship Church" on right. VPT follows immediately on the left. 539 Beach Pond Rd (CT-165).


From I-95 South (Boston/Providence)

Follow I-95 South Take exit 5A to merge onto RI-102 S/Victory Hwy toward Exeter, 1.2 mi Turn right at Nooseneck Hill Rd/RI-102/RI-3/Victory Hwy. Continue to follow Nooseneck Hill Rd/RI-3, 1.3 mi Turn right at RI-165/Ten Rod Rd Entering Connecticut,7.2 mi Continue on Beach Pond Rd/CT-165, 1.7 mi  Farmhouse is a moss green colonial, the first driveway after the intersection with Forge Hill Rd on the right.

From University of Rhode Island, Kingston Campus

Take Rt 138 West to Connecticut (about 18 miles to the stateline), then go another about 2.9 miles to the intersection with Route 165 (at a stop sign). Go right onto Route 165. A half mile down you will see the "Living Word Fellowship" on your right.  VPT follows immediately on the left at 539 Beach Pond Road (not the same Beach Pond Road you travel on in Rhode Island).

From the Farmhouse to Ahimsa Lodge (by car)

Just east of the Farmhouse on Rte. 165, turn onto Forge Hill Road at the "boat-launch" and Tamarack Lodge signs. Bear left all the way, staying on Forge Hill Road when the James extension and Ten Rod Road split off to the right. After turning left at the stop sign, take the third left driveway at a small hand-made sign pointing to 'AHIMSA' which takes you past one private home on the right before it dead-ends at the lodge.
