Mary Hill is originally from Massachusetts.  She attended college in Rhode Island and after graduating moved to Seattle WA in 1991. In Washington Mary attended Edmonds Community College where she received a certificate in Horticulture. After receiving her certificate, Mary worked as an organic grower/gardener for the Herb Farm restaurant. Leaving there after five years she became a grower at Full Circle Organic Farm and CSA outside of Seattle.
In 1999 Mary moved back to the Northeast and started Beaver Rock farm CSA. After 6 years of successful market farming with a CSA of 30 members, Mary and her family made the move to Voluntown where she was introduced to the Voluntown Peace Trust. She currently lives in Voluntown with her husband DJ and their son Alex.
